Our Lodge has had a good reputation for the quality of harmony it lays on with a number of talented entertainers amongst our serving office bearers and regular members of our lodge over the last twenty years. This resource has been a great asset to the lodge when providing it’s own entertainment for after meeting harmony and social functions.

The main stays of our current line up are PM Gordon Mackay and IG John Simpson who are always happy to oblige their Mother Lodge with their repertoire of Scottish Folk based material, they are equally happy to provide the same service to sister lodges when time and circumstance allow it.

Gordon and John along with another musician who is not a member of the craft (but they don’t hold that against him) David Cherry, have their own band which performs under the name of “In the Rough”. They have been together now for a good number of years and are well known in the village of Cruden Bay and surrounding area for the work that they do, much of it for charity, and a great deal in the name of freemasonry.

If you want to find out a bit more about the lads, why not pay them a visit on their own web site www.intherough.co.uk
