Our regular meeting on the 9th Feb saw a good turn out from lodge members who who enjoyed a convivial atmosphere before and after the working of an excellent 2nd degree.

Following the degree the lodge heard from R.W.M. Bro. Ewan Robertson and Bro. J Gardiner PM on the condition of Bro. Jim Stewart P.M. who is still in hospital and although still very poorly has shown some sign of improvement this week. Both Brothers Robertson and Gardiner again reiterated the family’s wish for brethren to refrain from visiting until otherwise advised as Jim’s condition is not improved enough for visitors. Bro. Robertson conveyed the best wishes of the lodge to Jim and his family and hoped that Jim’s recent improvement would continue sufficient that we may enjoy his company again in the not to distant future.

Bro. Robertson reminded the brethren the Lodge’s annual Dinner Dance will be held on Saturday the 11th of March and he hoped that given the high importance Bro. Stewart places in this annual event that members will respond well this year and show early support by buying tickets which this year will cost £18.00 per ticket, the additional details can be seen on the sample ticket at the bottom of this page.

The next meeting on the 23rd Feb is to be a third degree followed by a Mark worked by the Past Masters of Lodge St. Olaf on the 9th of March then our final meeting of the year on 23rd March will be a second degree which will be worked in the presence of the Provincial Grand Lodge at their annual visitation.
