One of a set of six reproduction vintage postcards depicting the Cruden Bay area.

The fishing village, Ward of Cruden, grew after 1830 when the Earl of Erroll advertised for fisherman. A new harbour funded by the Earl began in 1875. To commemorate the occasion, the village was renamed Port Erroll in his honour.
