As mentioned in previous pages, Lodge St. Olaf is a small village Lodge which prides itself in its character. Although a small lodge with regular attendances of no more than 25, we do have a real strength at the core of the membership. Our “Old School” are now the young men who joined the craft throughout the 80’s and we are indeed fortunate to have so many of them still attend regularly and a few have taken office for the second time around.

Our “New School” are gain plentiful in number and growing to be a strong nucleus which will ensure the lodges viability at a time when many others are struggling to survive.

The “character” of this lodge is what makes it special, warm and friendly in its manner, solid and dependable in its business and yet it maintains a sense of humour which creates a comfortable and pleasurable vehicle upon which to drive forward Masonic interest. This applies equally to member and visitor alike, and although it might not suit every taste, it has proven to be a successful mix to vast majority who have passed through our doors over the years.

If you have already visited Lodge St. Olaf, you’ll know where you fit in the picture, if you have not, and the explanation detailed above meets with your approval, get yourself up to the most Easterly Lodge on the Scottish mainland and see what it’s a’ aboot. You will be made very welcome at our regular meeting which in simple terms run fortnightly from the first Thursday in October till we run out of Thursdays in March!
