Keith Lodge No. 56 visited with an impressive delegation to carry out their traditional service of installing our new R.W.M. Neil Daniel and his office bearers. A warm welcome was extended by the outgoing master Bro. Ewan Robertson who spoke fondly of his term in office. He thanked the brethern for their support during the past 2 years and he likewise received warm and sincere thanks for his government of the lodge and the legacy his term has left for future masters in the renovation of our lodge rooms carried out during his busy term.

The brethern heard that Keith Lodge have now been providing their excellent service to Lodge St. Olaf for over 30 years during which time a deep and genuine bond has grown between our members who all look forward to continuing this very special fraternal bond.

On this occasion the Installing Board and brethern of Keith Lodge was accompanied by R.W.P.G.M. Alfie Davidson whose presence added greatly to the proceeding during the evening.

After the meeting the Lodge retired to the Kilmarnock Arms Hotel for a harmony during which time a raffle was held to raise funds for a cause brought to the Lodges attention by Bro. George Hall and the sum of £70.00 was passed on for his deserving cause.

The next meeting will be on Thursday 14th December when a 1st Degree will be worked. The new R.W.M. Suggested an informal meeting should be held on the earlier Thursday 7th December when all new office bearers or other interested brethern can attend to partake in any necessary rehearsal.
